With Call for Volunteers still open (and if you haven’t applied already, now is a perfect time to do so filling up this form) we wanted to give you an overview of the selection process. For WordCamp Europe in Paris, we are building a 250 volunteers strong team (which is almost 40% bigger than Vienna) , and we want to make sure to give everyone a fair chance to contribute to the event.

In order to do that, this year we decided to try a new approach. We will select volunteers in small batches, starting this November, and will continue to do so until the call closes (23:59 UTC on January 31, 2017). We do this because we don’t want to lose the “family feeling” that WordCamp Europe has always brought with it, even if this year we’ll count on a much bigger group. Selecting smaller batches will give us time us to build a more direct contact with each volunteer and allow for a smoother onboarding process.

Still not confirmed? Don’t worry!

If your participation hasn’t been confirmed yet, don’t worry, we’ll do our best to accomodate as many applications as possible. If you already received a confirmation, please fill the form included in it to confirm your presence and get started. We can’t wait to be working with you!

For any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at volunteers@wp-europe.org. Still didn’t apply? Well, what are you waiting for? Apply now!

I want to volunteer!

Thank you!
