Location

WordCamp Europe 2017 will be held in Paris, France. The whole event, two Conference days (16th and 17th June 2017) and Contributor day (15th June 2017) will be held at Les Docks de Paris, 87 avenue des Magasins Généraux, 93300 Aubervilliers, France. Metro Front Populaire (12 line). The venue is incredibly flexible, and well, there’s no real need to introduce Paris…

Afterparty

Join us on the outskirts of Paris in the Bois de Boulogne park, where in the the magnificent venue of Pavillon d’Armenonville WordCamp Europe afterparty will take place.

Transportation

Everything you need to know about the transportation in Paris, including all major airports and train stations, public transport system (including both métro and RER), vehicle sharing (cars and bikes), as well as some recommended mobile apps.

Flight Discount

We’re happy to announce that the alliance network SkyTeam Global Meetings is our travel partner for WordCamp Europe 2017 and, as such, has special offers for WordCamp Europe attendees. This partnership allows attendees to take advantage of exclusive discounts of up to 15% in both Business and Economy.

Hotels

The city of Paris being one of the most visited in the world, you’ll find a high number of hotels. We’ve selected these hotels for you, some are very close to the venue, and others are located near touristic attractions but all with easy access to the venue by tram, bus or metro.

Getting Mobile

Long gone are the days when you only needed a travel book and a map: now that we’re digital natives, travellers use their phones for everything — and therefore good connection is needed at all time, if only to find your way around, to learn what sightseeing you shouldn’t miss around you, or to find that perfect shopping area. We prepared a detailed page about how to get mobile coverage in France.

Accessibility and Inclusivity

Accessibility and inclusivity are priorities in the WordPress community. We want WordCamp Europe to be an event where attendees feels welcome, comfortable, and included.

Childcare

As we did at the last WordCamp Europe (2016, in Vienna), we will provide childcare during the two days of the conference (June 16-17). Please, fill out the form here to let us know you will be using Childcare services.

Coworking

You plan to work before and after WordCamp Europe? We have you covered. Paris, as any other city, have numerous coworking spaces where you can rent un chouette coin (a sweet spot). We have selected 6 coworking spaces for you and dealt discounted prices for WordCamp Europe attendees. You can show up in any of them, show your WCEU ticket and get a 20% discount.
