Do not miss the biggest WordCamp in Europe

Paris – 29th March 2017,

In June Paris will welcome the global WordPress community for the fifth WordCamp Europe. It will be the largest WordPress event to this day after Leiden in 2013, Sofia in 2014, Seville in 2015 and Vienna in 2016.

Once a year WordPress professionals come together for 3 days to share knowledge and experience, and to strengthen the WordPress community.

WordPress powers around 25% of the world’s websites, but what makes it truly powerful are the people behind it, the community that is one of the largest in the world, and they work selflessly without asking for anything.

Some important things to know about last year’s WCEU:

  • more than 1950 attendees from all over the world;
  • 69 speakers covering topics on development, content marketing, design, community and more;
  • 39 sponsors and 180 volunteers.

The event will take place in the Docks of Paris where more than 3000 enthusiasts are expected, to exchange knowledges and experiences about the contents, the design, the techniques, the security and the innovations of WordPress.

WordCamps are official WordPress related conferences that are approved by WordPress Central. They are also non-pro t events, with any surplus being fed back into the WordPress Community. WordPress is still holding it’s number #1 position, as the most popular CMS out there, now with it powering over 27% of the web. It’s an open source platform that everyone is invited to contribute to, in any way they can. Everyone from casual users to core developers participate, share ideas, and get to know each other.
