As WordCamp Europe is just one day away, we now have the opportunity to look back at what we’ve accomplished during the past year. One of the things that makes us proud is the new WordCamp theme that our Design team have been working on for the past few months. As the theme has gone into beta testing (testers still needed!), we took a moment to talk with Sonja Leix (Design team lead), Bernhard Kau, and Lucijan Blagonic – who extensively worked on the new theme.

Matt Mullenweg, final #WCEU speaker announcement & full schedule published

Om Malik will interview Matt Mullenweg during his 50 minutes long session on Saturday, June 17, which will also include a 20 minutes Q&A with the audience

We are happy to announce our final speaker, a dear guest and a good friend to WordCamp Europe – Matt Mullenweg, co-founder of WordPress. During his session on Saturday starting at 3 pm, Matt will be interviewed by Om Malik, founder of Gigaom. After the 30 minute interview, we will have 20 minutes for Q&A. With this final announcement, we are also happy to release the full speaker schedule for the upcoming WordCamp Europe 2017.
